A FEW WORDS ABOUT OUR CENTER

The new teaching- learning strategy is developed with an aim to restructure the religious learning by introducing modern and scientific methods of instruction in the elementary level itself. The objective of this project is to fashion the children in the true Islamic nature from their early childhood itself. Islamic teachings are more relevant today thanever and more and more people are turning towards it simply because of its ability to withstand the devastating nature of time. Modern technology employed in the class rooms has made teaching-learning a different experience. Instruction methods combined with technology and psychological approach is the need of the time to make class rooms lively and student friendly. This project is the result of long researches about how to reach the Islamic teaching to the targeted people in a more interesting and effective way.

In order to make class rooms lively and successful, different types of learners – Auditory, Visual and Kinesthetic- are to be made a part of the class room activity through Differentiated Instruction. Formulation of curriculum and method of instruction should be learner-centered. Effective learning strategies are to be formulated to achieve the objectives of teaching.

Teachers are to be role models in keeping up the spirit of Islam and should lead from the fore in every walk of life. They should be able to inspire the children and help them develop their creative talents.

They should be adept in spotting undesirable qualities in children like kleptomania, insincerity, timidity, laziness, carelessness etc.. They are to be well-versed in handling such situations with maturity.

Children, by nature, demand affection, security, recognition, freedom and victory. Negligence of their needs will make them psychologically fragile. Their healthy mind can be ensured only by fulfilling their natural demands.

Value oriented teaching can only create a healthy and effective generation. Recitation of Quran and its keeping by heart, traditions of prophet, routine prayers and rituals, manners and etiquettes are to be introduced to the children in a more child-friendly way so that they absorb them in a natural way. Different possibilities are to be explored including Montessori Method, Micro-teaching, Team teaching and the broad highway of Information Technology.

Above all, a child needs the constant care and attention of their parents in their education. This project envisages that a child achieves knowledge of Arabic Alphabet along with 20 sura:s from Quran and some essential routine prayers from the first year itself. He successfully learns in the first year subjects like Maths, English and Malayalam taught at IPS-I level. In the second year, apart from learning IPS-II subjects, he learns to recite the Holly Qur’an and some more prayers.



School Uniform


Uniform is mandatory for both teachers and students. Teachers should wear an exclusively designed purdah as uniform. Uniform is mandatory for all school functions and class room activities.

The governing body has decided seperate uniform for IPS-I and IPS-II. The name of the school and the emblem of Albirr should be stitched on the right pocket of the shirt. Every student must wear photo identity card in the class room.

School Admission


Admission will be given to children who have completed three years of age. The course will be conducted as IPS-I for the first year and IPS–II for the second year and each batch will have 20 students. Application for admission should be submitted in prescribed form.

Our Fests And Tests


To boost the extracurricular skills of the students, School level ' Albirr Kids Fest' is conducted in December followed by district level fest for those qualified from School fests. Class wise talent search is done in January. A sports meet at School level will also be conducted in the month of December.

Salary And Fees


Teachers who have successfully completed the training conducted by Al Birr will be given posting. All managements will give salary and increments as decided by the board. The management can only receive the fees as decided by the governing body. Fees should be collected in three instalments only. Those institutions who wish to engage vehicle services should strictly adhere to the rules given by the concerned authorities.
